Zebra Law is proud to announce that Colin Bushell, Co-Founder and Director, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Insurance Fraud Bureau.

The appointment reflects Colin's extensive experience across the claims and insurance sector, particularly in defendant personal injury, complex fraud matters and strategic support for insurers and MGAs.

The IFB plays a central role in supporting the insurance industry's collective response to organised insurance fraud, bringing together members, partners and law enforcement to share intelligence, identify threats and strengthen fraud prevention. Its Board is responsible for helping set the organisation's strategic direction and representing the interests of its members across the UK insurance sector.

Colin's appointment comes at a time when fraud risks continue to evolve in complexity and sophistication, requiring greater collaboration, sharper intelligence and closer alignment across the market.

Colin Bushell, Co-Founder & Director of Zebra Law, commented:

"Shared insight, effective partnerships and alignment across the industry are essential in responding to increasingly sophisticated fraud risks."

Throughout his career, Colin has worked closely with insurer clients and counter-fraud teams, developing a practical understanding of claims operations, litigation strategy, fraud behaviours and the commercial pressures facing the market.

His role at Zebra has been central to the firm's strategic direction, client relationships and development of a responsive, intelligence-led approach to complex claims and fraud work.

Colin's appointment also builds on Zebra Law's existing relationship with the IFB. Zebra joined the IFB as an affiliate member in 2024, describing membership as a strategic milestone and a reflection of its commitment to tackling fraud risks within the motor insurance sector.
